Leo

Leo was born on 31/08/02. He was 1 of 7 and the biggest of them all, he was nicknamed tails as he had a kink in his tail, even with his kink I knew he was the one for us. The kink wasn’t a problem as we didn’t want to show him and he was to be neutered.

We got him from a breeder in a little village called Cwmbach in South Wales. We brought him home at 7 weeks after a long wait. I originally had my heart set on having a bitch but after seeing how handsome his father was and meeting him my mind was made up.

There was a lot of hard work involved with Leo as he didn’t have the quietest temperament and was quite dominant and boisterous, however, he is approaching his 9th birthday and you wouldn’t believe he is the same dog. Still I thank him for teaching me more about Ridgebacks than I could ever read in a book.

Leo is my champion, and always will be in my eyes.

Lexy

Makari Kari Bemba aka Lexy was born on 03/01/05. I had been searching for months and through a friend I found her.

She came from a reputable breeder in Aylesbury, England and is the most beautiful girl ever with an outstanding temperament. She is a very clever girl who is eager to please and has endless energy.

We discovered the show world together and I can say I am hooked. Being a beginner was scary and I am sure in those early days it showed how scared I actually was, but the more and more you go the more comfortable you get and the more people you meet the nicer it becomes. That first time in the ring I was shaking from head to toe and I was relieved to be done but as soon as you step out of the ring you want to go right back in.

Zizi

Zenzele’s Azizi Blue meaning Precious Blue, Our special little Angel.

She was born on 26/6/08 and is Lexy’s daughter. Zizi is one of 11 puppies, 4 bitches and 7 dogs and is a true delight to have. She has the sweetest nature and loves to play with anyone or anything that obliges. She is almost 3 years old now and is following in her mothers footsteps and having fun in the show ring, along with 2 of her brothers.

Her favourite things are toys, cuddles and other playful dogs.
